Cindy has experience working with culturally diverse children, teens, parents and adults struggling from anxiety, depression, autism/ASD, trauma, grief and loss, and stressful life transitions. She believes that emotional well-being is an important part of a healthy and balanced life. And therapy can be a unique and supportive process that can bring about clarity, change, and growth. Cindy believes that each individual has their own story to tell and is passionate about guiding them along their desired journey. Cindy aims to be supportive during the therapeutic process using unconditional positive regard, empathy within evidence based structure.
She uses her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Attachment theories to help support her clients. Through her past volunteer work at Kara, Centre for Living with Dying, Contact Cares Hotline, and Rape Trauma Services, Cindy is committed to helping those in need. Cindy also brings in-depth experience with her research background in Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS). She is also interested in helping families who are struggling with this rare condition. In addition, as a Ukrainian-American, Cindy has a deep and personal connection to the upsetting and ongoing situation in Ukraine. She would like to assist those who needs support during this difficult period. Cindy speaks working proficiency Russian.
Cindy offers a warm and gentle space to be seen and heard, with strong belief that no one needs to struggle in silence. Cindy offers both in-person and Telehealth services and looks forward to connecting with you.
