Betsy Williams, AMFT, Associate Therapist
Betsy believes that anyone can benefit from therapy, and she loves helping others find greater peace, clarity, and satisfaction in life throughout the therapeutic process. Betsy has worked with children, teens, adults, and couples, facing issues ranging from anxiety, depression, postpartum struggles, relationship distress, trauma, and more. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Systems and Attachment theories in her work. Betsy began working in therapy after 15 years in tech (including working at Google and Facebook), with a graduate degree from Stanford University. Betsy clearly understands the pressures of this area and how they can impact well-being of an individual, couples, children, and families. She also has two young children and enjoys thinking about and discussing the joys and challenges of being a parent.
Betsy offers a warm and accepting space to look at what’s not working – and to pay closer attention to what is! Sometimes we need someone unbiased and separate from our lives to help untangle our concerns and illuminate hope, and Betsy would be honored to help you do just that.
